“Yesterday I had radiation treatment for a metastasis in my brain at the Gammalaser practice. I must emphasize that I was treated in a super professional and friendly manner throughout the treatment of my illness. But what I experienced in Hanover was something I could never have dared to hope for in my wildest dreams. First of all, I would like to briefly praise the radiology practice in the medical center with which the GammaKnife practice works. I was out of there with my images in less than an hour and there was a free cab transfer to the laser practice. The staff were incredibly friendly and professional.
In the laser practice I was then in a world that was foreign to me. As a normal health insurance patient, you’re used to a lot. Here, however, I mutated into a VIP private patient. And without any additional insurance. Both doctors took their time. Dr. Bundschuh gave me a great explanation and his emphatic and humane manner allayed my worries and fears. Dr. Lütjens then joined me for the treatment and it was immediately clear that he was in the same league. In terms of professionalism, the two of them are hard to beat.

Of course, the staff at the registration desk and during treatment should not go unmentioned. They were also super friendly and professional. I don’t think you can deal with seriously ill people any better than that. My companion even got a coffee during the waiting time.
I had opted for the head fixation with the mask. I can highly recommend this for anyone who has no problem lying still for 20 minutes.

Conclusion: for me, this was one of the best treatments I have had since my diagnosis.
